Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Talon Ops LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company doing business as Proxyon (“Proxyon,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), collects, uses, shares, and protects your personal information when you use our website at proxyon.io, our dashboard, and our proxy services (together, the “Service”).

We’ve written this in plain language. Where the law gives you specific rights (for example, under the GDPR in Europe and the UK, or the CCPA/CPRA in California), those rights are explained in Section 5.

By using the Service, you agree to the practices described here. This Policy works alongside our Terms of Service.

A note on how proxies work

Proxyon sells network infrastructure: proxies that route internet traffic. This Policy covers the personal information we collect about you as our customer (for example, your account and billing details).

It does not cover the data you collect or process when you use our proxies to access third-party websites. When you do that, you are the controller of that data, and you are responsible for handling it lawfully. See Section 3 of our Terms of Service for more.

We aim to log as little as possible. We do not log the contents of the traffic you send through our proxies. We keep only the limited information we need to run the Service, bill accurately, secure our network, and prevent abuse, as described below.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Information you give us directly

When you create an account, make a purchase, or contact us, we may collect:

• Account information: your name or username, email address, and password (passwords are stored in encrypted form). If you sign up or log in using Google, we receive basic profile information from your Google account, such as your name, email address, and a Google account identifier, in line with the permissions you approve. We don’t receive your Google password.
• Billing information: the details needed to process your payment. Card payments are handled by our payment processor, and we do not store your full card number. Crypto payments are handled by our crypto processor.
• Communications: messages you send us through email, live chat, Discord, or support requests.

We do not currently require identity verification (KYC) to sign up. We may request verification only if we suspect misuse, as described in our Terms of Service.

1.2 Information we collect automatically

When you use the Service, we automatically collect limited technical information, such as:

• Device and connection data: IP address, browser type, and device information.
• Usage data: pages visited, features used, and basic activity within the dashboard, collected through analytics tools (see Section 1.4).

1.3 Proxy and network data

To operate the Service, bill accurately, and keep our network secure, we process a minimal amount of operational data, such as bandwidth or request volume tied to your account. For residential proxy products, usage is measured in anonymized, aggregated form for billing and network-integrity purposes. We do not log the contents of your proxy traffic or the specific destinations you access through it, except where we are required to retain limited information to investigate abuse or comply with a valid legal request.

1.4 Cookies and similar technologies

We use a small number of essential cookies needed to keep you logged in, remember your preferences, and secure the Service. We aim to keep our use of cookies minimal and rely on privacy-friendly analytics that limit the use of tracking cookies. Where we use any non-essential cookies, we’ll ask for your consent first. You can also control cookies through your browser settings, though disabling essential cookies may affect how the Service works.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide the Service: create and manage your account, deliver proxies, and authenticate your access.
• Process payments: complete your transactions and maintain billing records.
• Communicate with you: respond to support requests, send service-related notices, and (where permitted) send product updates or offers. You can opt out of marketing messages at any time.
• Improve the Service: understand how the Service is used, fix problems, and develop new features.
• Keep the Service secure: detect, prevent, and investigate fraud, abuse, and violations of our Terms of Service.
• Meet legal obligations: comply with applicable laws, tax and accounting requirements, and lawful requests from authorities.

Legal bases (for EU/UK users)

Where the GDPR applies, we rely on these legal bases:

• Performance of a contract: to provide the Service you’ve signed up for and process your payments.
• Legitimate interests: to secure our network, prevent abuse, and improve the Service, balanced against your rights.
• Consent: for optional marketing communications and non-essential cookies, which you can withdraw at any time.
• Legal obligation: to comply with laws that apply to us.

3. How We Share & Disclose Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only in the limited situations below.

3.1 Service providers

We use trusted third-party providers to run the Service. They may process your information only on our behalf and only as needed to provide their service:

Each provider has its own privacy policy governing how it handles data. We may add, change, or remove providers over time, and we’ll keep this section up to date.

3.2 Legal and safety disclosures

We may disclose information if we believe in good faith that it’s necessary to:

• Comply with a law, regulation, court order, subpoena, or other valid legal process.
• Enforce our Terms of Service or investigate potential violations.
• Protect the rights, property, or safety of Proxyon, our customers, or the public, including to prevent fraud or abuse.

3.3 Business transfers

If Proxyon is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We’ll notify you of any change in ownership or control of your personal information.

3.4 With your direction

We may share information when you ask us to or otherwise direct us to do so.

4. Data Security & Retention

4.1 Security

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including encryption of passwords and secure handling of payment data through our processors. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so while we work hard to protect your information, we can’t guarantee absolute security. You’re responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential.

4.2 Retention

We keep your personal information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Service. After your account is closed, we delete or anonymize your personal information, except where we need to keep certain records for longer to:

• Comply with legal, tax, or accounting obligations.
• Resolve disputes or enforce our agreements.
• Detect and prevent fraud and abuse.

Anonymized and aggregated data, which can no longer identify you, may be retained without time limit.

5. Your Choices & Privacy Rights

You have choices about your information:

• Access and update: you can view and update most account information directly in your dashboard.
• Marketing opt-out: you can unsubscribe from marketing emails using the link in any such email, or by contacting us. We’ll still send essential service-related messages.
• Cookies: you can manage cookies through your browser settings.
• Close your account: you can close your account at any time by contacting us at contact@proxyon.io.

5.1 Your rights under the GDPR (EU/UK users)

If you’re in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you.
• Correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
• Delete your data (“right to be forgotten”), subject to legal exceptions.
• Restrict or object to certain processing, including direct marketing.
• Data portability: receive your data in a portable format.
• Withdraw consent at any time, where we rely on consent.
• Lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

We won’t discriminate against you for exercising these rights. To make a request, email us at contact@proxyon.io. We may need to verify your identity first, and we’ll respond within the timeframes required by law.

5.2 Your rights under the CCPA/CPRA (California users)

If you’re a California resident, you have the right to:

• Know what personal information we collect, use, and disclose.
• Access a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
• Delete your personal information, subject to legal exceptions.
• Correct inaccurate personal information.
• Opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of personal information. We do not sell or share your personal information as those terms are defined under the CCPA/CPRA.
• Limit the use of sensitive personal information.
• Non-discrimination: we won’t treat you differently for exercising your rights.

6. Children’s Privacy

The Service is intended for users who are at least 18 years old. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal information, please contact us at contact@proxyon.io, and we’ll delete it.

7. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time, for example to reflect changes in our Service, our providers, or the law. When we make a material change, we’ll update the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, notify you by email or through the dashboard. Your continued use of the Service after a change takes effect means you accept the updated Policy.
